Whoohoo I'm uploaded to the blog!

I'm new to blogging so I'm still learning how to post and add pictures and links. So I may have uploaded an extra picture and/or this post might not show up :)

Bio time?

My name is Kaylee Wiltshire and I'm 19. I just finished my freshman year at Seattle Pacific University and am spending the summer home in the lovely little Spokane Washington. I've been working as a nanny and at a coffee stand this summer.

I've felt God's tug on my heart to travel and spread his love for so long and feel incredibly blessed by this opportunity. Seattle Pacific taught me a lot about the power of a Christ-filled, loving community and God filled me with so much passion and love through those relationships as well as drew me closer to HIm that I cannot wait to pour it out on those we come into contact with! I'm not sure exactly what will happen during this experience but I think that is part of the beauty. I do expect to be challenged, to be changed and to give and serve in a way I never have before. I'm also excited to meet all of you!

hmm details. . . I love batman. When my brother and I were little we would sneak up early in the morning to watch the animated series; we also dressed up as batman and batgirl for a few halloweens. (I still have the embarrassing photos as proof!)  I love to cook and read. I also love apples, yoga and hanging out with my delightful amigos. I'm not a big fan of chocolate and peanut butter together, although I love them separate. I like all sorts of musical endeavors but a couple of my favorite artists are Ray LaMontagne and Matt Costa.

I've done some pretty fun outreach stuff with friends in Seattle. The girls on my dorm would make lunches and we'd take them to those who were a little down on their luck. We would chat with the people we met and later pray for them. I've also done little volunteer projects here and there but nothing like this trip. I have never done any traveling outreach and am so excited!

Blessings,

the Lord said to me, "Do not say, I am only a child." You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Jeremiah 7:1 :)
